A Wisconsin-raised, free-roaming creative always down for a shoot in the middle of the pasture.
My interest in design was sparked by the sale flyers and catalogs of cattlemen I saw growing up. I learned quickly that without marketing, operations can seem like an amateur, even if they’re not.
Branding is more than a logo, pretty fonts, or a generic color scheme. A brand is what entices a customer to buy. A brand is a story behind the business. A brand is the personality of the guy who shakes your hand at the end of a business deal. A brand stands the test of time, while a logo may die with the trends.
From my experiences growing up on a farm with my own cattle business to starting a career in TV News, I saw just how important it is to brand yourself, your business, and as well as your cattle. My passion lies in Rural America - the small business owners, the cattlemen, and the people who make Small Town, USA so special.
Some Fun Facts
I’m a farm kid from way back and graduated with only 27 kids in my class.
I started my career in TV News, but have had jobs in AM and FM radio, newspaper, and was a founder of a magazine.
I have five tattoos - one I got while broadcasting on live tv, another I got in a foreign country.
My photographer boyfriend and I roamed the western U.S. in a 5th wheel camper for years shooting ropings & barrel races.
