squarespace TEMPLATE policy

When you purchase a Squarespace Template, you will receive a link to accept the template as a new website, this template will not be added to an existing website unless you purchase an Install Package add-on.

We will always do our best to have your template sent within 48 hours, but please understand that this time frame may vary due to potential unforeseen circumstances and although unlikely, we can’t guarantee that it won’t take longer. Please submit a support ticket if it has been over 48 hours. Please note that there may be a delay on this time frame over the weekend/holidays.

Once the template is added into your account, it is no longer ours and is your responsibility to add your own content + edit the site. If you make any accidental changes to the template we cannot come back into the site and reverse them.

A purchase of a Template includes your chosen template sent to you only once:

If you make any accidental changes to your template and want the template sent again, or, if you don’t accept the invitation to your new template within 6 months of purchase and your free trial expires, then you will have to repurchase the template so we can prepare and send it again.

Your template will be added to your account on a 6-month free trial basis. If you let this free trial run out, Squarespace will mark your website for deletion. If your website gets deleted and you want the template resent, you will have to repurchase the template so we can prepare and send it again. Avoid letting your trial run out by asking Squarespace support for a trial extension, or upgrading your site to a paid plan.

REFUND policy

Due to the digital nature of our templates, they cannot be returned or exchanged. We cannot issue refunds after the purchase is made. Please be sure to review the template demos and features, the FAQs, and requirements prior to purchasing. If you have any template specific questions, please contact us before you purchase.

SUPPORT policy

Your template purchase comes with 60-days of support from the date of purchase. Any support after this time will be at an extra cost.

We are happy to help you with support relating to: RCC template design and function (CSS if applicable), branding and visual strategy, and business systems and processes.

Your template purchase does not include support with: General Squarespace questions, Google Workspace, email function and management, business systems and processes outside of the scope of website, 

We offer support via email (support@ruralcreative.co) and we aim to respond within 1 business day though this time frame may vary due to potential unforeseen circumstances.

INSTALL policy

(Only applicable if you have purchased one of our Squarespace Template Install packages.)

This install service will transfer your chosen Squarespace Template/s into your existing Squarespace website.

We will always do our best to have your template installed within 48 hours, but please understand that this time frame may vary due to potential unforeseen circumstances and although unlikely, we can’t guarantee that it won’t take longer. Please submit a support ticket if it has been over 48 hours and you are waiting for an install. Please note that there may be a delay on this time frame over the weekend/holidays.

Once the template is installed into your website, it is no longer ours and is your responsibility to add your own content + edit the site. If you make any accidental changes to the template we cannot come back into the site and reverse them.

While we are in your site we will do our best to not disturb any of your existing content, but we cannot be held responsible in the unlikely event of any issues or glitches during our install process that results in removal or disruption of your existing content.

Rural Creative Co reserves the right to decline or cancel any installation at any time. In the event of an installation order being cancelled, Rural Creative Co will refund the full amount of the Install service. Though we cannot refund for the Squarespace Template Kit purchased in conjunction with this order.

COPYRIGHT + LICENSING policies

Squarespace Website Templates:

Each Website Template purchase may be used for one project/website only (eg: 1 Squarespace Template purchase = 1 Website). If you want to build multiple websites with the same template, you must purchase it again for another license.

By purchasing a template, you agree that:

If you are using the template to build a design for a client, you are prohibited from claiming or promoting these designs as solely your own.

You may not resell the design or claim the design as your own. 

You may not share the template, graphics, files or any design elements provided in your purchase with anyone else.

Any photography provided with the template is for demonstration purposes only and copyrighted to its original creator. You must replace these photographs with your own / source images yourself. We hold no liability for any image licensing / copyright issues that may occur through your unlawful use of the supplied images.

The design is copyrighted Rural Creative Co and Rural Creative Co owns the rights to all designs and files (excluding any photography and/or pre-made graphics in Canva) included in your purchase and design.

Your completed website design may be used in our template showcase, sales pages or on our social media for demonstration and promotion purposes.

MISC important notes

Please note that due to the design limitations of Canva, there may be some slight differences between the original template Photoshop graphics and the Canva graphics, and, some design elements provided in the Canva templates might not be as customizable as they would be in Photoshop. In most cases there’s little to no difference and almost all elements are completely customizable. If this is a concern for you, please contact us with the specific template you are enquiring about, and we can tell you exactly what differences or limitations there may be. Depending on the template, you may need to upgrade to 'Canva For Work' (a paid version of Canva) for best results.

You will need a Squarespace subscription and you may need Photoshop/Canva to use these templates. Please read each template description carefully to see what is needed for that particular template.

You have lifetime access to the templates, but we can’t guarantee lifetime updates to the content. If the template has been retired/removed from the store, it will no longer be updated.
